Training
People joining the Group who have not passed the Advanced Driving Test are Associate Members. All Associate members of the Group are assigned to a tutor who will give the Associate as much guidance and tuition as required so that they can pass the Advanced Driving Test. Tutors are Gold standard Advanced Drivers who freely give up their time to assist Associate Members. The tuition is usually given in the Associate's own car apart from demonstration drives given by the tutor which are usually carried out in the tutor's car. Most training sessions last for approximately 1 hour and are carried out at times convenient to both the tutor and the Associate.
When the Associate is ready for the test, a pre-test will be arranged with the Group's Senior tutor or another experienced tutor. If all is well then an application for a test will be made.
